If you’re not sure what you’ll do while in Cornwall, check out these top 5 attractions in Cornwall.

1. Lanhydrock House and Garden
These grounds are absolutely incredible and are the perfect location to have a picnic in the sunshine. The house is extremely well maintained and has so many artifacts that you may feel as if the family is still living there. Be warned there are over 50 rooms, so touring the house can take quite a while. Plan at least half a day here as you can easily spend two hours wandering around the beautiful gardens alone. Check ahead of schedule to see if the house is open during the cooler months of the year as sometimes it closes.

2. Davidstow Airfield & Cornwall At War Museum
Many young children will be delighted by this museum, as well as those with an interest in aircrafts and military. This museum is a little quirky and extremely informative – you’ll learn a lot during your visit. One of the best parts of the museum is that it is extremely affordable, costing around £13 for a family of four. Be sure to take a camera or at least have enough battery on your smartphone as you will want to take a bunch of photos here.

3. Screech Owl Sanctuary
If you have an owl lover or a Harry Potter fan in your family, then you’re going to have to make a stop at the Screech Owl Sanctuary. This is a small, intimate family-run business with friendly staff that will be more than happy to answer any questions. I suggest opting for a photography experience, you’ll be given plenty of opportunities to capture some incredible photos of the owls.

4. King Arthur’s Great Halls
You must make a visit to King Arthur’s Great Halls if only to see the incredible strained glass here – it is truly amazing. Looks are very deceiving here, from the outside it looks small but once you enter you’ll find yourself impressed by the sheer size and detail inside. Be sure to opt for the informative light show, as it’s both beautiful and extremely informative.

There’s so much to do and see in Cornwall making it a fabulous holiday destination no matter the occasion!
